Will Running Burn Belly Fat? The Truth About Running For Fat Loss

A lot of people who are new to running are wondering will running burn belly fat. I'm a big fan of running myself and every week I try to run at least ten miles and over years that I have been doing this I certainly learned a thing or two about running that will be useful to those of you who are wondering whether running will help you to get rid of belly fat.

First of all, although this probably sounds a little bit weird, I am going to tell you that running alone will not help you to get rid of belly fat.

You see, the number one reason why you have got belly fat is not because you don't run enough. If everything would be that simple everyone in the world would just run and be ripped and sexy. The reality is nowhere near that and the main reason why you have got belly fat is simply because your overall levels of body fat are too high.

You already have a nice set of abs and the only reason why you can see your abs yet is simply because of high levels of body fat.

Running certainly can help you to drive your overall levels of body fat down, but only if you will improve your diet.

The main reason why you and millions of people from all over the world have got belly fat is simply because of bad diet. Over years, as a result of bad eating habits, you gave your body more energy than it actually needed and as a result of this energy surplus you have gained all of this body fat that is now covering your abs.

To get rid of unwanted body fat, to get rid of belly fat and to get six pack abs you are going to have to improve your eating habits. Simply clean up your diet a little bit and get rid of foods that are packed with useless calories. Use common sense and start eating less. Once you will start eating less and once you will start running you will be force your body to use fats stores in your body as a source of energy and this is when you will burn body fat.

Remember that if losing belly fat would be so easy. If running would guarantee six pack abs then everyone in the world would be running, but things are not that simple.
