Before you exchange your cold hard cash for your own set of tandem wheels, do keep in mind that you will also be investing some money into other items as well.
The Roof Rack
Realistically, cycling any bike in the city is akin to looking for a whole lot of trouble. For safety and practical reasons, it would be best to stash your bike in the car until you get to the country or seaside areas instead. Instead of trying to figure out how to take apart your bike, it would be so much more prudent to simply fix it to the roof of your car with a roof rack.
Travelling Case
Cycling is fun, particularly if you can lounge around at a scenic spot after spending some time cycling in tandem with your partner. To do so, you would need to get a travelling case to fit assorted items ranging from a change of clothes to snack bars and energy drinks.
Bicycle Clothing
Just like any other form of cycling, your bicycle outfit is not only fashionable but it also works as protecting the cyclist during the ride. While we are on this topic, don't think about skimping on getting a properly fitted helmet, either.
Bringing the Kids Along
If you own a larger family, you could also consider the triples and quads bicycle that respectively seat three and four cyclists. You could also opt to install a trailer cycle if you plan to bring a third person on your cycling excursions. If said third person is not of legal age, we recommend that you install a child stoker kit instead.
